ADSL - High Speed Dedicated Access
SOHO & Business ADSL ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber
Line) is a new high-speed mode of connectivity to the Internet.
ADSL is ideal for organizations that want a dedicated connection for
their Local Area Network (LAN) to the Internet at speeds faster than
traditional Dedicated ISDN. ADSL gives your business high speed Internet
access over a business phone line and is capable of download speeds of
up to 7Mbps and upload speeds of up to 640K.
The ADSL service is provided in co-operation with our various partners
and is backed by superior technical
support and customer service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
* ADSL service availability has to be determined
(less then 10,000 ft from the switch) ** Business Class ADSL - One or more static IPs available
ADSL Service Includes: - Free Modem and Cisco Router - Free business Dial-up access (remote - vpop) - 150 hrs/month, 56Kbps or ISDN up to 128 Kbps - Canadian and US roaming - Web Hosting and Business e-mail service
Roaming Access (VPOP) - free 150 hrs dial up with ADSL:

55 points of presence across Canada, more than 800 communities - that's
over 90% of the population using the Internet. In the U.S - over 700
access numbers chargeable at $1 per hour let you stay in touch. For
areas not services locally, a Canada/U.S. Wide 800 Access number keeps
you connected ofr just $0.10 per minute.
ADSL service availability: >>
location - infrastructure capacity to deliver ADSL service >>
the distance between customer and telco Central Office must
be less than 12,000 feet & type A copper wire. Why 12,000ft? ADSL is a distance sensitive
technology. As the distances between the customer locations and the ADSL
equipped central office increase, the potential for less reliable and
slower service grows. In order to maintain a high quality business class
service with a minimum throughput of 256Kbps backed by our 99.5% service
level availability (SLA) guarantee, a maximum distance of 12,000 feet
was implemented.
