All of your mailboxes will be setup under the domain name of your choice. For example, if you have the domain name yourcompany.com, you can have mailboxes with addresses such as info@yourcompany.com, support@yourcompany.com, yourname@yourcompany.com, etc. Each of these addresses is considered an "alias". There are no restrictions placed on what e-mail addresses you can use (within the limits of the globally recognized rules for e-mail addresses).

OttawaOnline's "Webmail" provides you with extended functionality for self-management of your own mailboxes and aliases's and at postmaster level for the email accounts associated with your business or corporate domain:

Email Standard Features   user can "alias" one or more e-mail addresses to individual mailboxes - ie, a single mailbox could receive e-mail for multiple e-mail addresses (aliases) of your choosing unlimited number of aliases pointing to your mailboxes; all aliases must point to internal, OttawaOnline supplied mailboxes up to five external alias mappings, pointing to third party mailboxes; user can add/modify/delete e-mail "aliases" at any time the ability to define a "catch-all" alias to catch e-mail sent to misspelled or invalid e-mail address(es) at your domain user can set up "auto-responders" (out of office, holiday message), which will automatically send a reply message to the message sender, with the option of delivering a copy of the original e-mail to whichever addresses you choose the ability to setup e-mail forwarding on an individual mailbox - this allows you to forward a copy of all messages coming into the mailbox to one or more other e-mail addresses, with the option to deliver a copy to the local mailbox the ability to setup e-mail vacationing on an individual mailbox - while enabled, each person who sends a message to the mailbox will receive an automated response of your choosing the ability for users on your account with the appropriate access level to reset passwords on other accounts (if required) Notes/Limits To download your e-mail messages, you will need to configure your e-mail client (your desktop/laptop email software) to "POP" the messages from the OttawaOnline mail server as required. Please check Email Support Center for details, instruction and help. It is recommended that you configure your e-mail client to "delete messages from mail server after download" otherwise your mailbox will eventually become "full". If you are using Webmail and leaving your mail on their server, you should check every 25 days and delete old e-mails. Each mailbox is allocated 10 megabytes (MB) of storage space for temporary message storage.
